Welcome to the Informational Page for the 2022 Socially Disadvantaged Farmers and Ranchers Policy Research Center Virtual Meetings
In a series of one-day virtual meetings we invite you to discuss issues and challenges faced by SDFRs as we prepare for the 2023 Farm Bill. The Policy Center specializes in policy research impacting SDFRs. Through collaboration with universities and organizations inside and outside the land grant community, the Policy Center leverages employees’ expertise and increases personnel capacity with contractual partnerships with other universities and agencies. During the meeting, we plan to confirm findings from research studies funded by the Policy Center, discuss the policy recommendations from research studies, and gather additional information on priorities identified by the SDFR Policy Center Advisory Board.
