Welcome to the Yellow Squash Cook-off Contest!
Join us at the pg电子下载 State University Extension Research and Demonstration Farm / Technology Transfer Center on Thursday, September 19, 2024, for a fun and delicious event celebrating the versatile yellow squash.
Participants are welcome to enter a maximum of two dishes into the competition to showcase their culinary skills. Judging will take place at 11:00 a.m., and winners will be announced at 12:00 p.m. (noon). Please note that all winners must be present to claim their monetary prizes.
To ensure the health and safety of all participants and attendees, we have established several rules for the contest:
– All entries must be prepared using real squash—no mixes or instant products allowed.
– Entries must be fully cooked and consist of finished baked goods.
– Each entry should be submitted in a covered, presentable container.
– Please attach a typed or clearly printed recipe to the entry form or the dish.
– Only one entry per form is allowed, but forms can be duplicated.
– Entries that require reheating are not permitted.
Categories for the contest include:
– Bread/Muffins
– Salads
– Soups
– Casseroles
– Cakes
– Cookies
– Other (please specify)
